On leaving the airport take the signs for the motorway (blue sign) A7. After approx 2kms join the A7 signposted Murcia.

Stay on A7/E15 for approx 1 hour 15 minutes. You will go past Murcia (note the directions then change to Almeria & Granada) and Lorca. Just past the exit for Puerto Lumbreras (there is a hotel on the right of the motorway that looks as if it has been built in Lego) take the exit for the A91, signposted Granada and Velez Rubio.

Stay on A91 (note, this changes into the A92N) for approx 25kms, following the signs for Velez Rubio. Leave the motorway at junction 112, signposted Velez Rubio & Velez Blanco. On entering Velez Rubio go straight over the roundabout following the signpost for Velez Blanco. At next roundabout, go straight over following the signpost for Velez Blanco. After leaving Velez Rubio the road becomes quite steep. Turn right into Velez Blanco, which is just after the petrol station which is on the left.

On entering Velez Blanco take the first turning on the right, which is very sharp (Bar 17 is on the left) which is signposted Lorca. Follow the mountain road for approx 3.4kms (note, this road has some sharp bends). Turn right at sign post Los Adanes (which is just after the bus stop on the left and the garage that has got green doors). Follow the Camino (track) for approx .4km, take the right-hand fork (has a green sign that says Casa Daval). Follow Camino for approx .3km, take the left-hand fork. Casa Scolares is 50 metres on your right (it still has a sign outside that says Casa Daval).

On leaving the airport follow the signs for the motorway (blue sign) A7/E15 Murcia. Join the A7/E15 motorway, signposted Murcia.

Stay on A7/E15 for just over an hour. Exit the A7/E15 at junction 578 onto the A91, signposted Granada and Velez Rubio.

On leaving the airport follow the signs for the motorway AP7, Alicante. Join the AP7 motorway, signposted Alicante. Leave AP7 at junction 782 (which is the first junction after joining the motorway), onto the 3319, which is signposted Murcia.

Follow 3319 until it joins the A30, signposted Murcia. After coming down the steep hill into Murcia, take the exit signposted Almeria A7/E15. Keep following the signs for Almeria, A7/E15. Take care when joining the A7/E15 (which is approx 1km after exiting the tunnel) as you have to give way on the slip road.
